Code of Conduct
Parents
- Ensure gymnasts arrive on time for their sessions.
- Ensure your child is dressed appropriately.
- Notify the club if you'll be over 5 minutes late.
- Do not enter the gym unless instructed; collect your child from the upstairs waiting area.
- Watch via the upstairs viewing gallery; do not crowd the entrance to the gym.
- Do not distract your child during sessions.
- Respect staff and follow the club’s conduct policies. We have a zero tolerance policy for rudeness or aggression towards our staff.
- Drop-offs and late pickups should be communicated to reception. The Guernsey Tumbling Squad does not accept any liability of children outside of their set session times.
- Repeated/severe violations may result in gymnast membership cancelation.
Gymnasts
- Arrive on time and dressed appropriately.
- Be ready for your session; wait until instructed before entering.
- Participate fully in warm-up and follow coach instructions.
- Respect coaches, fellow gymnasts, and equipment.
- We have a zero tolerance policy for any physical violence.
- Do not leave the gym without coach’s permission.
- Ask coaches if you need help or want advice.
- All gymnasts must be registered members of British Gymnastics in order to take part in sessions.
- Repeated or severe rule violations may lead to membership cancelation.
Communication
- Contact the club via email at [email protected].
- Do not contact coaches via personal social media.
- Responses to any non-urgent emails may take up to 5 working days.
- Communication with the club must be through an over 18 parent/guardian.
Attire
- Allowed: Leotard, t-shirt, sports top, tracksuit top, sleeveless top, shorts, leggings, joggers.
- Not allowed: Jewelry, watches, baggy clothing, skirts, dresses, cardigans, pajamas, tights.
